The WAC changed from the walking eagle to the standard eagle that was used on men's hats in late summer of 1943. Decent condition. Overall light discoloration. There is a moth hole under the band on the front (hidden when worn). There is a small hole on one side above the button. Small holes on the underside of the brim. Marked Knox New York Koblentz

Exceeded all expectations. Bigger than I imagined it would be, super soft and thick, beautiful color (Linen), and no funky smell at all. It seems very durable.
