"Mary Rose" Medieval Fiddle with a Raised BridgeThis medieval fiddle is based one of the two fiddles that were recovered from hold of the Mary Rose. It has been designed with modern string players in mind and is individually serviced and fitted with gut strings by our luthier prior to despatch. This fiddle has a solid poplar body with a spruce soundboard, cherry fingerboard, maple bridge and ebony nut. The bridge and fingerboard are raised making the playing transitional easier for modern players.

Soft and cute

I love the size, I have a 75% keyboard so I knew size wouldn’t be an issue. I love the color it matches my keyboard perfectly! It feels nice to rest my wrists on but I haven’t used it consistently just yet so I’ll update this if anything changes but it feels soft and nice. It’s thick and doesn’t sink in when pressure is applied. All round it’s great thus far!
