Ive had the insane rattling from my subwoofer and the highway drone from my aftermarket exhaust, and this 80mil sound deadening mat was the exact fix I needed. The 36 sqft kit (which comes as 33 pieces) was plenty to fully cover my trunk, rear deck, and floorboards. Since it's a butyl-based material, there’s no awful asphalt smell, and it adhered incredibly well with just a simple roller. The difference is honestly night and day. Even better, the cabin is significantly quieter at high speeds; that aggressive exhaust drone is finally muffled to a deep, tolerable purr.
