The grinders are working fine, though I have only used them for a couple of days. Their size is a little smaller than I would like for in kitchen cooking, but I got them knowing they will work better in a planned move with a smaller kitchen. Good size for a table. Just ordered a second set for white and mixed color peppercorns and will donate the sort of hodge podge assortment of grinders I currently use.
