Tencel is crafted from wood pulp, using a closed loop process that minimizes environmental impact. Tencel has the capacity to absorb 50% more than cotton. I was immediately drawn to this blanket as a fan of the brand and for its unique, vintage lace design. And it doesn't disappoint! It looks just like the product photos and is really high quality and well made. The presentation from the start is stunning. It comes on a wooden hanger and is secured with a bow. And the blanket itself is amazing! The fabric is super thick, plush, and heavy. And it's on the large side compared to some of my other throws, so it's extremely cozy and comfortable. The contrast of the black and white is beautifully striking too, and the details are so dainty and crisp. I haven't noticed any shedding and its washability seems promising, but I'll update if I run into any problems in the future. Overall, I'm obsessed! It's gorgeous, functional, and a great value! Highly recommend!
