These lampholders will need to be earthed (3 core cable) as it is a metal lampholder. Accepts standard bayonet fitting bulbs (BC B22). Fits almost all shades. Yoooooo great product but what is with the comically tiny screws? Actually installing this on the underside of a wooden desk is near impossible unless, of course, you are in fact a Disney princess and in charge of a team of handy-dandy mice all with #0 Phillips head screwdrivers and 5/32" drill bits. They drill, you hold, kind of thing.
