The voyage of Christopher Columbus starts in August 1492 in the port of Palos de la Frontera. After two months at sea, on October 12th, the sailors finally saw land. There are no exact drawings of the Pinta, but it is estimated that the length of the hull was about 66 feet (20 meters) with a displacement of about 100 tons.
