Tall Mahogany Whatnot, English circa 1800Elegant whatnot with four shelves, in solid mahogany, set on spindle legs. Antique English Georgian style and period, circa 1800. Condition: some scratches and dents Size: Wide: 35 cm Length: 40 cm Height: 138 cm Style notes Georgian period mainly refers to the second half of the 18th century and up to the 1820s. The style was predominantly neo classical, that looked back at the ancient Greece and Rome and used those elements in design and decoration.
