Blue Iron Bevel Bit With LozengeThe bevel bit allows mild leverage and offers a little more control, promoting outline, head carriage and responsiveness. The loose brass alloy discs in the centre can help to soothe a fussy tongued horse. Mouthpiece thickness: 15mm. Cheek height: 55mm (4. 5, 5), 70mm (5. 5). Blue sweet iron mouthpieces oxidise easily to create warmth with a sweet taste which helps with bit acceptance and encourages salivation. Please note the blue colour will fade

It smelled a bit “chemically” for the first few days. The smell did fade and eventually go away entirely. It also still slides off of my bed despite having the straps to hold it in place. Otherwise, I have no complaints. It’s extremely comfortable and adds a few extra inches to the height of my bed.
