I recently transformed my home computer from PC to Mac, and after doing my research, decided an the M1 Mac Mini. I saved myself some $$$ by purchasing a pre-owned computer, and because of my prior experience as an IT professional, I decided to invest in the 3 year protection plan. The Mac Mini is not a cheap computer by any means, even pre-owned, but I feel much more comfortable having the protection plan. I think it's a good deal and well worth the price - especially for someone who doesn't know the super-technical ins and outs of the model and the brand. I have a stronger sense of safety and preparation since I purchased the plan.
