The classic globular body with pulled handle and flared foot is decorated in cobalt blue on a grey salt glaze ground: spiralling scrolls at the shoulder, a broad horizontal band of stylised leaf and petal motifs wrapping the widest point of the body, and further scrollwork and floral sprigs above and below.
