Drystan - Panel HeadboardWhen merged in just the right way, rustic and industrial styles can make one happy marriage. Case in point: this panel headboard. A refined take on barn board beauty, its complex, replicated wood grain showcases hints of burnt tones for a sense of weatherworn authenticity. Love to read in bed? Youre sure to find the pair of retro chic light sconces and USB plug ins on the open slat style headboard such a bright idea. Drystan Twin Panel Headboard Brown

Great way to introduce children to drag queens and gender transition
Format: Paperback
This is a nice story about a little girl (in 5th grade) who lives with her mom and uncle who is a drag queen. Over the course of the story, she realizes that the reason she doesn’t like make-up, jewelry, dresses, and nail polish is NOT because she has watched a grown man wear those things her entire life. And it isn’t because some girls just don’t like those things. It is because she is really a boy. She transitions to a boy and is finally happy. This is a great story to introduce children to drag queens and the idea that if they aren’t stereotypical girls or boys, they might be born in the wrong body. Happiness can be found living a life pretending to be the sex that you are not.

Amazing!
Format: Kindle
My diverse literature professor required we read this book for a literature circle assignment. I absolutely adore this book! It was a window inside the life of a transgender child. Juvenile content for young readers but a serious and important overall theme. I highly recommend.

Excellent book for late Elementary and Middle School youth
Format: Paperback
Words can’t express the gratitude I have for you writing this book and the lives it will and has positively impact. Such a wonderful book about a path of self discovery. An excellent read for tweens and the friends and family that support them. This book can open up great conversations. I just purchased the next book and will be purchasing copies for supportive family members. From the bottom of my heart, thank you.

Transgender Story
Format: Kindle
A middle school age girl questions herself and her place on Earth. I had trouble believing the story based on the fact the character is middle school age and mentions all the things he can’t do yet but the point of view is first person and definitely looks at herself/himself like an adult would. The narrator clearly isn’t the protagonist but an adult. Big flaw.
