It is a somewhat non standard pattern that was more common in WWI and more applicable to the SS in WWII, as they were largely supplied with non standard equipment. It has no markings and is in rough shape. It is dirty and has some holes and rips. Still a decent piece.

I really wanted to love these, and I *almost* did. They are comfortable and cute. But they are a little wide across the mid-foot so they were a little sloppy on my feet. The platform is quite high, and while at 5'3" I appreciated the extra height, between that and being too wide, I felt they were an accident waiting to happen. If they were slightly more narrow and a little lower, I would have been in love, but I had to return them. They seem true to size except for the extra width.
