Cometic uses stainless steel for increased strength, its ability to rebound and resist corrosion. The outer layers of the gasket are embossed and coated on both sides with a Viton rubber material designed to meet the demands of a variety of harsh sealing environments, load conditions and surface finishes. The rods in between in each link aren’t solid rods at all! They’re made up of almost long, thin staples that bend and break EXTREMELY easily. Taking them off is incredibly difficult to begin with! I’ve removed links on hundreds of watches, it’s not my first rodeo, it has never been this ridiculously difficult due to extremely cheap materials. I wish I could give this a negative 100, never seen a cheaper watch. It’s extremely light and looks nothing like the picture either. Seriously, don’t waste your time. It’s the worst, cheapest watch you can buy. I shouldn’t expect better from Amazon.
