Vincent Couche Sensation Extra Brut Champagne 2002This is a cuvee that spent just shy of 20 years on its lees and is made up of 50 50 Pinot Noir and Chardonnay. (This was farmed organically and it is in later years that Vincent converted over to Biodynamics.) The nose opens with a light suggestion of buttercream, lemon oil, golden apple and a just there note of baking spices. The palate is moderate in weight and gorgeously balanced by notes of cream, lemon oil, and pear galette. D&M TASTING NOTES

A friend and I wanted to do this study of NT Wrights New Testament in It's World. It's a very large book and has 37 chapters. Well, last week when we were talking about the next chapters to read I realized I have 2 chapter 23 and chapter 24 is missing. Missing!! How do you have a 1000 page book and you're missing a chapter. I'm obviously after the point of getting a replacement from Amazon and the publisher will not replace it because I didn't purchase from them. What the heck. I'm very disappointed. The book is wonderful and I want to be made whole. I've submitted 2 requests to Amazon (one today and one 5 days ago) and have not heard anything from them. If you buy this book, look through and make sure you have all the chapters you are supposed to have.
