Eda Zari - Statement (CD)Eda Zari's concern is to draw attention to Albania, which has so far received less attention as a music country. Hence the title 'Statement'. What do you think of when you hear the name Albania? Perhaps, you think of desperate refugees near the coast of Italy, or you see it as 'country of bunkers'. Why? For there were built 700,000 air raid shelters for a population of only 3 millions. For Eda Zari, they are symbols of the paranoia, of the isolation

Fun to read aloud, old-school, easy read by Diane DeGroat about classroom friendships, honesty, kindness, and fixing mistakes. K-2nd grade will enjoy. So many of today’s children’s books lack depth, depend on dumb fart/poop jokes, are tied to tv shows/movies, or overfocus on moralizing and turning kids into little adults. Read for fun with your kids as often as you can! Check out children’s authors/illustrators from the 80’s and 90’s!

Entertaining and teaching book

Format: Paperback

I got this for Valentine’s Day for my 7 year-old grandson. I thought he’d enjoy the book as the title is funny, not “mushy.” He enjoyed reading the book to me, and I was pleasantly surprised to find a lesson on being kind.
