Hand Dyed FabricA beautiful purple fabric, swirled through with some pinks and browns. All fabrics are dyed using Zweigart base fabric and fibre reactive dyes and the edges of the fabric are serged to prevent fraying. Cut sizes are measured before dyeing and some fabrics do shrink up during the dye process. Aida opal aida 18" x 21" pieces. Evenweave opal evenweave linen opal linen 18" x 27" pieces. Great information density! I though they did a good job of covering the basics to a higher resolution than I expected. I bought this for my 10 year old nephew, it's a bit out of his reach as far as information density- the pictures help a great deal but it is definitely a book that will require explanation for you ger children. I don't think it's ever too early to have exposure to this science.
