The imitation leather is a little rubbery feeling so I am sure the purse itself is rather water resistant. There is some minor wear and age but it is in overall good usable condition. Nice large size purse

sub-optimal design
Size is a bit too small for anything bigger than an average bar of soap, so the soap doesn't move around enough to make good suds. the inside is also too textured, and the soap sticks to the inside of the pouch. good quality and sturdy stitching however.
