Smooth starting came after I fitted these Bosch 9614 double iridium plugs into my 2014 Honda Accord Sport, along with slightly better idling behavior. Longevity might come from those fine iridium tips; installing them felt straightforward enough. Yet here's the catch - the 9614 doesn't match what the factory actually specifies for the 2.4L engine in that year’s Accord. Not sure about gas mileage, but these definitely improved the performance of my little 1.8 L Honda Civic, not sure if it’s because the old Plex were just old and weak or just because these are that much better. Acceleration is much better and engine or idle is much smoother
