Santa Duc Gigondas 'Les Hautes Garrigues' 2015Santa Ducs flagship Gigondas was planted around 1852 on the magnificent stony red clay soils of the Quaternary. The roots of the vines have to push through 8 meters of barren and draining alluvial soils before reaching the deeper basis of blue clay. The Grenache loves this soil, and here expresses its full power. This terroir creates deep, rich wines, with spice and a dense tannin structure, as well as an exceptional longevity.

I love these shelves and have bought additional for other areas in the house. I love the look of the industrial pipes, the color of the shelves is perfect, they are sturdy and hold a lot of weight. They are somewhat difficult to assemble, but it's expected as hanging shelves are never fun to hang. I love them. If you are on the fence, just do it :)
