Paul Kendall - My Shining Hour (CD)On his second ZOHO release, jazz saxophonist Paul Kendall switched from tenor to baritone sax, showcasing tunes from the Great American Songbook. My Shining Hour is an hour of jazz for the world to hear and enjoy: a collection of my favorite songs, mostly written between 1940 and 1960. It is intended as a companion project to my first ZOHO CD release 'Whisper Not' (ZOHO ZM 202401) where I was heading a swinging organ trio and playing tenor sax. For

Marketed to kids 4-12, this content is quite simply odd. Squirrel girl taking her (female) squirrel to a school dance dressed up in a trenchcoat? Black Panther recalling a library fight over…censored books and xenophobia? Wiccan baking his gay superhero lover a cake? Ms. Marvel having an anxiety attack and obsessing over ‘not being enough’ over a social media post calling her a b-list superhero? Gwen Stacy haunted by an intergalactic stalker/creep that keeps her from band practice? This one is high on progressive storylines and low on decent storytelling…

Adorable book!

Format: Hardcover

Purchased this book as a Christmas gift for my husband’s little cousin, who is two years old. He adores Mickey and Minnie Mouse and his mother was the one who suggested it. I would recommend this book for all little readers.
