WWII U.S. McCord Front Seam Swivel Loop M-1 Helmet Shell (1944)Description This is an original WWII U. S. front seam swivel loop M 1 helmet shell. It was produced by McCord Radiator & Manufacturing Co. of Detroit, Michigan and exhibits a lot number of "858G", approximately dating its production to early 1944. The helmet retains its original olive drab factory finish, cork texture, and OD#3 (khaki) chinstraps with steel hardware and a raised bar buckle. Provenance Private Collection, Missoula, Montana Condition

Comfortable and light!

Wanted something that was going to be lightweight but had those longer sleeves because I do still get a tad chilly even on the warmer days. This is perfect, the fabric is lightweight and breathable, the loose cut around the waist adds to the top's "breathability," but it still keeps you cozy and warm on those chilly mornings! The brown is a lovely warm-coffee tone and it hasn't faded a bit in the wash. Very nice shirt to add to your collection!
