"Boundary Waters" Original PaintingBoundary Waters, 2025 Ink on paper, mounted to wood panel 10 x 10, unframed This painting was inspired by the solitude, calmness and quiet of the Boundary Waters at the border of Minnesota and Canada. I spent a week there paddling from island to island, camping, and taking photos with my manual film camera only to find out after developing my film that it didn't take any photos on the trip. So l painted the feeling and sight that I recalled the most.

My daughter had a friend having a unicorn and dragon themed birthday party, so of course we picked up this one and Unicorns Are The Worst for the birthday girl.
