Sturbridge Box - Embroidery and Cross Stitch Pattern - PDF DownloadThis beautiful Box is inspired by the Olde Sturbridge Village inspired fabric you see on the sides. The gorgeous lid top is fully embroidered with a scene showing the Main Town Commons, and even includes the meeting hall, blacksmith's shop, and bank! When the lid is removed, the sides of the box drop down and show the interior with places for your needlework tools! Ive used some delectable overdyed silks, silk flosses, and beads. Marketed to kids 4-12, this content is quite simply odd. Squirrel girl taking her (female) squirrel to a school dance dressed up in a trenchcoat? Black Panther recalling a library fight over…censored books and xenophobia? Wiccan baking his gay superhero lover a cake? Ms. Marvel having an anxiety attack and obsessing over ‘not being enough’ over a social media post calling her a b-list superhero? Gwen Stacy haunted by an intergalactic stalker/creep that keeps her from band practice? This one is high on progressive storylines and low on decent storytelling…

Adorable book!

Format: Hardcover

Purchased this book as a Christmas gift for my husband’s little cousin, who is two years old. He adores Mickey and Minnie Mouse and his mother was the one who suggested it. I would recommend this book for all little readers.
