German Bakelite Soap Travel Case ContainerVintage German Bakelite soap container which was probably originally in a leather travel case set. Marked "Made in Germany" on the inside. It is in good condition. It could be early post war; these didn't change for much from the 1930's to the 1960's. Fairly sturdy for a soap container and can hold a larger bar of soap than many other travel size containers.

As someone that refuses to spend $40 on a 1 oz bottle of facial sunscreen, I decided to give this one a try. For some background, I have very oily olive skin. I've been using tretinoin for 6 years. Currently, I've been using the .14% of tret for the last year or so. With that said, it's interesting balancing the dryness of tretinoin with my oily skin. This sunscreen is fantastic. It doesn't make me more oily. The price point is good. No breakouts. Doesn't feel heavy or greasy.

I really like the body and gel formulas in this line. This is a good addition, but not quite as good a fit for me. It is very lightweight and easily to apply, and comfortable on the skin. It's fairly shiny but not in a greasy or wet-looking way, more glowy than dewy; I tend to prefer a soft matte finish for my oily skin, but this one is workable and would probably be great for dryer folks. Unfortunately, it does move around a bit on the skin (according to my UV camera) and when it gets into my eyes it stings, which is very very common for chemical formulas from the US. I don't know if that will be an issue for people who aren't as sensitive as I am, but it's an important heads-up for those who are.
