Initially I was very skeptical about buying this product and kept talking myself out of it, did that a few times. I was under the impression that this was just an incredibly well orchestrated marketing campaign(it kept popping up all over social media) and people just out there overhyping it all. Yesterday I finally decided to give it a try and I have to say, BOY WAS I WRONG, this is probably the best hair product I’ve used in 15 years. Gives a natural matte look to your hair, it’s not greasy, gives plenty of volume and holds your styling in place in a very natural manner. The product also smells pretty good, HIGHLY recommend if you’re having doubts.

It delivers, but damn is it expensive

This product mainly shines because everything available at a brick and mortar shop is terrible - at least for men. This is great stuff, great hold without being greasy or turning your hair into spikes. No pungent odors. It's noted that it includes pine and sandalwood oil. There's definitely some pine, not getting any sandalwood. Regardless, it isn't a strong scent and that's how it should be. The tin is almost exactly the size of a snuff can. Expensive. But you don't really use much of it at one time.

This is a mostly great product. I only have 2 complaints - it’s really difficult to wash out, and the price. In my experience shampoo alone will not wash it out at all. Two-in-one products don't work. I have to use: 1. a shampoo 2. a conditioner 3. a shampoo again 4. More conditioner It does a really great job compared to other clays. I have short somewhat thin hair and it provides volume. It gives me the hold. I need all day. It smells great and it’s easy to work with. I wish it was cheaper. For reference, my hair is short—slightly longer than a typical military regulation cut—so this review reflects how it performs on shorter styles.
