Because it is a single row of outlets, the power supplies for 2 laptops fit in the box. I have those, a lamp, phone, and iPAD, with 1 extra USB and 1 USB C cord plugged in. The low profile inside the larger ventilated box keeps things from overheating. It has taken a bit of adjusting to get everybody in the right place but it works great. The flat cable is smart. It fits under the corner of the rug without leaving a bump.
