ALAN ALDA (autographed book)SIGNED BY ALAN ALDA! It was awfully nice of Sharon Beavan to donate autographed books for our fund raiser. Sharon helps as an "assistant" for celebrities at conventions and film festivals, and went to events as an attendee to get celebs to autograph their books. Her collection is amazing so it can be attested that she got each of these either from a reliable source (like a special Barnes and Noble limited release) or in person from the stars

I love the modern lines of this purse. And of course, as Hobo always does, it has a fun interior. The circle part is large enough to put your forearm through. So I bought it thinking I'd only have a clutch...or maybe a wristlet at best. But actually, I can pull it up to my elbow while I'm shopping and flipping through things. That is so cool. I've never had this many compliments on a purse. Mind you, it is still small. So if you carry a tote-sized purse, this will seem teeny. I find it super handy while traveling too. It goes inside of my backpack or laptop case. Then you can grab it without schlepping your entire suitcase around. I'm not a purse gal, so this is my upsizing from being a wallet-only person. Being able to also have keys and a pen and some lip gloss in there is a great bonus over wallet-only days.
