Lex is dying and tricks Superman in to trying to save him. While this sounds like a spoiler, there is so much more in this tale. Mark Waid knows what he is doing with his stories. So just sit back and enjoy the ride. The art team of Hitch and Nowlan is out of this world, with some mind blowing two page spreads.
