This linen has an enzyme wash, this gives it a slightly distressed finish. It is dyed with a wash out dye which means it will gradually lose colour over time, it's not a fault. This is perfect for our camper trailer. It gives just enough extra counter space. It can hold bowls and items needed for cooking or washing dishes or setting drinks on it. I would only use it as a cutting board if the place you screw it into is sturdy. If it's a flimsy wall, I would add support to it. Definitely recommend this board.
