She managed to tear the fuzzy part open fairly quickly but once it was all the way torn the ball inside that makes the noise is as pictured and she can still play with it regardless of the fuzzy part being taken off. My Doberman (80 pounds in 7 months) puppy absolutely loved this ball. He loves anything noise making so this ball was perfect. So I have a sad puppy and a lighter pocketbook. It was fun while it lasted.
