He tends to not immediately bring balls back after retrieving them and prefers to aggressively gnaw them instead which is why I purchase Chuckit balls instead of normal tennis balls and all of them stand up to the abuse. I don't think he's ever chewed any of them apart and they are of high enough quality that we always end up losing or misplacing them before they are destroyed.
