If you do mount the power strip, it does reduce the size of the plug it will accommodate on the sides. Also wish I would have purchased the longer cord- NOT the fault of the product. Love the flat angled plug! I'm using it behind an adjustable bed frame that moves several times a night, so knowing I won't accidentally knock it out of the wall is nice. And you can easily use both wall plugs. Also very convenient to connect the USB & USB-c plugs without the bricks.
