Love these grinders. You can adjust the size of the grind by rotating the base. There is an arrow on the clear portion of the grinder and size dots on the base so you can quickly see if you are making the grind large or smaller. I love the base that it comes with. This keeps my counters clean. The easy to use push button operation makes grinding salt and pepper so nice. No more straining or tired hands when manually using a grinder. These grinders are also super easy to recharge. Simply plug them in to a USB outlet. They come with charging cables that are long enough to use easily. I liked mine so much, I purchased another set and gave them to my son as a gift. He loves them too and uses them all the time. These are sturdy, well made, and easy to use.
