This book was exactly what I hoped it would be - informative, well written, and a little bit gossipy while also thoroughly researched and fair to both sides. Do the Republicans who ran Congress in 2023 and 2024 come off looking incompetent and foolish? Yes, but that’s because the authors accurately report the things they did, not because of any bias they have.
