Not a Woman ArchitectThis book presents the life story of an extraordinary woman in the world of corporate architecture during the Mad Men era of the 1950s to 1980s. Born in a small village in Germany, Brigitte Peterhans managed to come to America to study with Mies van der Rohe at the Illinois Institute of Technology in Chicago, and then to work with Bruce Graham at Skidmore, Owings & Merrill. Her work during this time reflected the mid century modernism of Mies and SOM.

Very nice quality and appearance

They were surprisingly stout and went together well. We had to return them because when we took them to where they would be used, they were too big to work in that location. Dang. But if we needed them in the future, I wouldn't hesitate to purchase them.

Good Multi-use Panels

These panels were easy to assemble and stand sturdy. i will use them to block the sun when I am outside doing yard work in the heat. I'm sure I will find other uses for them too.

We threw it away

This thing cannot stand on its own, the side bars bend since it is not sturdy enough to handle the material screens. After assembly, I was so mad at it, the pleasure of crushing it was better than returning it. I tryed to think of other ways to use it, but could not… i kept the screens, they are the strongest part of this thing. Very disappointing
