Destilliert wird dabei aus Melasse in einem Mix aus traditionellen Copper Pot Stills und Column Stills. Im Anschluss erfolgt die Vermhlung zu einem Single Blend Rum. Die Lagerung erfolgte fr 12 Jahre in Ex Bourbonfssern aus amerikanischer Weieiche. So entstand der unverwechselbar weiche und runde Geschmack des Real McCoy Rums.
