Hans Aichinger (Maerzgalerie)Hans Aichinger has worked in a studio in Leipzig's Baumwollspinnerei since studying and teaching at the Hochschule fr Grafik und Buchkunst in Leipzig. His works are characterised by powerful reduction, which emphasises precisely painted figures that are highlighted in contrast to the minimalist background. The sophisticated lighting, often developed out of the dark, focuses the attention on the central motif. This lavishly appointed publication

Legs seem decently thick. They could be a little sturdier. The paint has stayed with no chips or flakes. Color has not faded. It sits at the perfect height for a desk. Screws and hardware do the job. No welds to speak of, everything screws together. I’ve used these for a year and a half as a school desk and has held up well. I took a sheet of project board with stain and polyurethane as my top. Works excellent
