Die Trauben fr diesen Wein wachsen in einer ausgewhlten Parzelle im Steilhang. Es handelt sich hierbei um roten Tonschieferboden, der mit lehmiger roter Erde bedeckt ist. Dieses Stck ist einer besonders intensiven Sonneneinstrahlung ausgesetzt und zugleich durch die Einkeilung zwischen zwei Hgeln sehr windgeschtzt gelegen.
