Fischer was an international billionaire who walked away from it all and met truck-kun. Now he’s in a tropical paradise with a unpowered System, and living his best life as a fisherman. He befriends many people and begins awakening people and animals as cultivators without trying to. Some see him as a hurdle to be removed, but his new friends deal with it without bothering him. In the end Fischer has the friends he’s always wanted and a love interest. This is a good swift, king, slice of life story. There’s loads of humor, great pacing, wonderful narrator, and an interesting world. It reminds me of “Beware of Chicken” in its wholesomeness and enjoyability. I’ve already gone to the next in the series! Please enjoy

I liked the book. But, I didn’t like the romance aspect of it. Felt somewhat forced. The last 10% or so was a slog to get through. I don’t like feeling like you can’t wait for something to be over. I would have skipped but it was the last chapters of the book and it felt a bit lazy; it wasn’t as if I didn’t want to know what happened… I can’t explain it. I’m not at all sure I’ll continue the series. Do I recommend it? Yeah, I guess I do. It’s not a bad book and I’m sure a lot of people would really like it. I liked it too, just not at the end.
